CENTER STONE IN ENGAGEMENT RINGS

My engagement rings are based on all the many diamond cut shapes that are now available on the market. We all know the round cut diamond, which is the most popular, but there is a sea of other enormously beautiful and atypical cut shapes. For example, it can be an oval-cut diamond, marquise-cut diamond, pear-cut diamond, princess-cut diamond, radiant-cut diamond, heart-cut diamond, emerald-cut diamond, and these are just some of the cuts that I use on my website. Each cut is unique in its own way, and there is no right or wrong when choosing your diamond cut.

All my engagement rings have one thing in common, namely that all the center stones are VVS Top Wesselton diamonds, certified by GIA. This means that your ring will come with a certificate confirming that the center stone that you have now purchased is authentic as described. (GIA is the most recognized gemmological institute, as they are known for their high quality standards.) When you buy a clarity plumbing diamond, you can be sure that there is not a single inclusion visible to the naked eye, which is in the path to the sparkling beauty of the diamond. Even when looking at a plumbing diamond with a magnifying glass, you have to be trained to even see what kind of inclusions they are, since they are so small. Top Wesselton refers to the color of the diamond, which unfolds from FG on the DZ scale. I choose to go with Top Wesselton diamonds, as the yellowish shade occurs to a very small degree. In other words, I specifically go for diamonds of high clarity and high color gradation to achieve a result with a clean and colorless diamond.

The majority of my engagement rings come with a center stone of either 0.50 carat or 1.00 carat. I have drawn inspiration from abroad for my collections, as in Denmark you often see significantly smaller center stones of around 0.15-0.30 carat per piece on the jewelery market. Again, there is no right or wrong, but I like the feeling of having a larger stone in the ring as I love studying the many details and facets of the diamond. It is a ring that should last a lifetime, so it should be extra nice, full of quality and inspiring, so that you want to study it.
