THE KIMBERLEY PROCESS
A conflict diamond is a diamond that originates from a conflict zone where its trade may support unethical purposes, such as poor working conditions and financing civil wars.
We work with suppliers who adhere to the international Kimberley Process, which was established in 2000 to prevent the trade in conflict diamonds. The Kimberley Process ensures that diamonds on the global market come from legitimate sources and do not contribute to violent conflict. Today, 82 governments have enacted the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) into law, meaning that 99.8% of the world’s diamonds come from conflict-free sources.
We carefully vet our suppliers and partners to ensure that our diamonds come from legitimate sources, so you can buy your jewelry with full confidence that they have no problematic past. We actively support conflict-free trade and contribute to peacekeeping initiatives in affected regions.
