Certification
Always purchase an investment diamond with a GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) certificate to ensure global marketability. If the diamond is from the Argyle mine, it is recommended to include an Argyle certificate of origin.
Economic benefits
As a private investor, the return is tax-free when the diamond is set in a piece of jewelry, while the purchase is subject to VAT. If the diamond is stored in a safe deposit box outside the EU, the investment is exempt from VAT.
Time horizon
